Although a laptop and flatscreen monitor are the ideal setup, CurlTime can be used on a desktop and regular CRT monitor as well. In
the latter case, it just takes up more space. As is noted in the diagram below, the size of the clock facing the ice is limited only
by the size of the monitor that is being used. For use in an arena setting, a large (42" - 60") flat screen TV could be used, provided
it has a port to accept computer input.
CurlTime has been optimized for a 16:9 aspect ratio to accomodate widescreen monitors.
If a standard monitor is used, CurlTime will adjust it's output to accomodate the 4:3 aspect ratio.
NOTE: there have been some issues identified with Intel Celeron and AMD Duron processors locking up.
